Indulge your taste buds in a culinary journey with our Homemade Mexican Street Tacos featuring a unique twist – succulent osso bucco! This recipe is a celebration of flavors, blending the rich, tender goodness of osso bucco with the vibrant and bold tastes of traditional Mexican street taco elements. Perfect for a gathering of 6 to 8 people.
Ingredients
- 4 osso bucco
- 1 -32oz beef stock
- 2 heaping tablespoons (knorr) De Res Bouillon
- 1 tablespoon (Mexico Lindo Picante Negra)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 large (Dried Guajillo Peppers)
Method:
- Add all ingredients to a large crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours
- Remove osso bucco and peppers from crockpot and set aside
- Take two ladles of broth and the cooked guajillo peppers and put them in a blender until smooth and creamy
- Remove the fat and bones from the meat (make sure to keep the marrow from the bones in with the meat before discarding bones)
- Poor off remainder broth and store for a later meal such as soup
- Shred the beef and mix with the pepper sauce for serving.
Topping (Pico De Gallo)
- 1 white onion finely chopped
- 1 bunch of cilantro finely chopped
- 2-3 Roma tomatoes finely chopped
- Mix together well
